高雄國際觀光前進美國！高雄市政府觀光局高閔琳局長，獲美國國務院二度邀請，於6月底代表台灣赴美參與為期三週的2024 「國際領袖人才參訪計劃」（International Visitor Leadership Program，IVLP）。繼2021年首次獲邀參加 IVLP計劃交流「青年與公民參與」（Youth and the civic engagement），高閔琳今年二度獲邀代表台灣參加2024年的IVLP「女性參與政治與公民社會」（Women in Politics and Civil Society ）參訪交流計畫，與來自世界五大洲15位女性領袖代表，針對性別、政治、公共政策與公民權益等公共議題進行深度交流。除將走訪華盛頓特區、佛羅里達奧蘭多市、科羅拉多州丹佛市，以及明尼蘇達州明尼亞波利斯市等4大城市，高閔琳也不忘積極向各國代表介紹台灣、行銷推廣高雄國際觀光，連結在美台僑共同推進高雄姐妹市之友好交流與合作。
